312 Suite Dreams: The Past, Present, and Future of Learning Systems

8:00 AM - 8:45 AM PT
Wednesday, November 17

The modern learning suite offers a superior experience for learners, a more efficient workflow for administrators, and a better response to the needs of the business than can be achieved with a collection of point solutions. That’s the promise—but too often we have seen a mismatch between vendor offerings and practitioner needs.

During this session, Learning Pool’s Chief eXperience Officer, Page Chen offers a critical review of the state of the current Learning Suite – from its origins to the latest integrated technology. Page will delve into the burgeoning analyst discussion around specialists, stacks, and ecosystems and demonstrate how a modern learning suite can fully support and develop today’s learners.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to identify and articulate the key differences between LMS, LXPs, and learning suites and understand the relative strengths, use cases and deployment for each
  • Learning in the employee lifecycle, including how each stage requires something different to put the learner first
  • How an integrated learning suite can adapt to the different ‘moments of learning need’.
